Outstanding ToyApr 25, 2008

This is one in a series of cars that are built by this company and all of them are fantastic. I use them in my work with children who give them a major workout. They are fun, well built, educational, and of interest to many age groups.

This is a wonderful toy, a real keeper -- educational in that it gets pieced together by the child, but is well made and is the sort of thing I will save so that my son can pass it down to his kids someday..... And my husband, who is normally after our kids to put their toys away, said he doesn't even mind having this one sit out on display on the coffee table, it's so nice. WIll definitely buy more of them for my 7-year old son.

My son takes it apart & loves putting it back together. Just what every young boy needs in his toy collection.

We have just about all of the full size automoblox vehicles. My son started playing with them a little before his first birthday. This mostly meant taking the people out, taking the wheels off and banging the bodies. Now at 2 and a half he can literally spend hours taking the cars apart and putting them together in different ways. Then it's time to actually drive them. He can make up stories and take trips for another hour... plus they are almost as much fun for me. The closest thing I have to a criticism is this... my son loves them so much he plays with them a ton. As durable as they are I don't know that they will quite live up to their claim of being heirloom quality, although they certainly take a better beating than anything plastic or the larger metal cars. The designs are great, the wheels in particular move beautifully and are a model of brilliant simple design. If you don't own any yet I would recommend buying at least three to make the interchangeability as much fun as possible. My son likes the pickup truck and off x9x the best.

I bought this car for a 3 yr old's birthday present and it was his favorite toy. The car is so solid and sleek looking that you can't help but pick it up. The interchangable parts were fun for the adults as well as the kids. A nice change from bright colors and plastic cars with decals. I will definitely be buying my son these cars once he turns 3!
