I almost had your same problem. Luckily I didn't hit the purchase tab before I saw the note "not in original package and no code". This item should NOT be advertised as NEW. ALL their Sea Pals are NOT NEW. I fortunately was able to purchase new Sea Pals in the original package from honest and up front vendors.

I ordered these sea pals and was VERY surprised to get them without packaging or the codes included. There is no mention of this on the description page. They even talked about playing the online game (which you need the code for) in their product description. This is why my daughter wants these finger puppets - so she can play online! Very disappointed.
