5Durable, wooden, funMay 01, 2010
By Chettie Copper
My son loves this toy. We got it for him for Christmas when he was 2, and he still plays with it now that he is 3. He loves to put his Cars cars on them and line them up. The structure is made from wood. There was some assembly required. The wooden man is lame, as well as the cars that come with it. The gas station and the car wash are fun for him, though. It has 4 levels and each level has lines painted on it for each car. The elevator squeaks sometimes, but is well made and holds up to his hard play. If your kid is interested in vehicles, he/she will love this toy to park them.

5exceptional qualityJan 07, 2010

This is an exceptionally well made toy. My boys are hard on their toys, I see this garage lasting from generation to generation. I highly recommend this Toy.

3Nice ToyAug 09, 2010

Gave this to my son for his 3rd birthday. The quality seems good although the paint job is a bit sloppy. The lift already broke off the rope but I didn't see how that happened and with 3 boys I'm hesitant to blame the toy. I think I can reattach it. He enjoys matchbox cars and when we place this next to matchbox tracks to make a city he really plays with it. On it's own he doesn't spend much time with it. Good toy but still a bit pricey for what it is.

5wooden parking deckJan 31, 2011
By Veronika "motherlove"
Our daughter is 4, our son almost 2. We have lots of toys, I try to go for high quality ones. This parking garage is by far the toy that is played with the most. by our kids, by their friends. I am not sure what it is about it, but this toy gets played with Every Single Day! it fits most cars such as matchbox, little people racers, trains etc. And my daughter also uses it as a doll house. she has a doll house but still uses the garage. Assembly was very easy and straight forward and it's held up well over the 9 months we've had it. Get this, you won't regret it!

3Fit and finish issuesJan 06, 2011
By Miranda Eddy "Eddy Family"
Overall the toy is good, bellow par for a Melissa & Doug product though. The problem comes in three areas:1)the hole that is drilled in the grey support columns are to shallow for the length of the bolt. They stick out about a 1/4" to much on the top of the garage. If you dont know this and tighten you pull the screw threaded insert that is tamped into the wood column. If that happens you have to glue or shim them to keep them in. I didnt have a drill to fix this problem so I had to put a cardboard homemade spacer under the top floor of the garage to suck up the extra room or the bolt head would of stuck up and the top floor would have been loose. I was lucky and two (out of six)of my columns were drilled deep enough or I would have been forced to send it back due to the damage to the hard wood floors (because of the heads of the bottom bolts would have stuck out). 2)the screws that go into the ramps stick out a little bit and could scratch little hands while playing. 3) the instruction say to firmly insert garage floor levels into the elevator but if you push a little bit too hard you can knock the little piece that is glued into the back of the slot and crack the paint. It was my son Birthday present and it arrived on his birthday, so I had little choice but to make it work. He loves it. P.S. Some people on other reviews I read didn't like the elevator but mine works great. Also the gas pump is crap, not the wood part but the hose, it is just a tube (no nozzle)I only mention this as it is not in any picture.
