I bought this for my 6yr old. The outside is easy for her to attach but the center pieces, when 2+ pcs need to be attached is a bit difficult for her. She wasn't as excited as I thought she would be with it. After awhile she got bored and went to color. Maybe she will start it up again. If your child likes puzzles I would buy it, if they only do puzzles once in awhile I would pass on this and get a regular puzzle.
