 Don't waste your money!Aug 31, 2010
Do not waste your money on this ball. It is a pain to get the two halves together. Once you get it set up and get the zhu-zhu inside, it is hard to get the hamster started, close the ball, and get it rolling. Some of the other zhu-zhu accessories are cute and fun, but this is just a waste of money and plastic.

My son loves the ball for his pet. It's so fun to see it go around the living room. You almost forget that they are not alive.

Apparently, the makers of this toy never tried to use it. Instructions say to put the critter in the ball, press the button, and put the lid on and let it go. Problem is, that as soon as you press the button, the critter starts moving in the ball, which is not able to move yet, so the critter tips and stops moving.

I rarely write negative reviews even when the product leaves much to be desired. My time is just too limited. However, this time I felt that I should. This toy is the biggest waste of money and resources. The ball is constructed of 3 pieces (two half rims that are interlaced together and a cover that functions as a door.) The ball falls apart continuously and cannot be put back together by a five year old. It does NOT well on tiled or carpeted floor. The stabilizer attachment does little to improve mobility of the ball. The hamster ends up on the side way too frequently. I really regret wasting $18 on a toy that only frustrated my children. Given my experience with the toy, it made me question what type of company sells such junk for this outrageous price? Will never purchase from this company again either. Given that this my 1st purchase of the hamster and an accessory -- my kid will just have to suck it up and do without anymore. I am so tired of these giant manufacturers producing crap and getting away with it. I vote with my money.

Impossible to Use - Waste of MoneyJul 09, 2010
By the time you hit the button and close the lid the pet has gone into sleep mode. Its very frustrating and had my 5 year old in tears. The pets have a tilt mode so when you hit the button on the pets back and close the lid as fast as you can the pet has turned off. This toy is a waste of money and will be returned.
